Children and Youth
We believe that the ministry of everyone is the future
of the church universal. A big part of this ministry
are children and youth. Hillsboro United Methodist
Church, Inc. is committed and active in ministries for
both our children and youth. We treasure our
children and youth as a vital and integral part
of our community of believers.
As it has become a practice with all agencies
including non-profit, religious, faith-based
organizations, our church has a Safe Sanctuary
Policy that we hold ourselves accountable.
All our staff is Safe Santuary trained and
are required to new training
every four years. As part of our policy,
background checks are conducted on all
people that are assigned to leadership
in the church as well as interviewed
before assignment.
