Bible Studies

Bible studies are usually offered twice a year - during the Lenten season and in the fall. These studies range from in depth studies of the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to topical studies for personal discipleship growth and accountability. Studies are held either in homes or at the church during the day and evening. Presently we have continual studies that were commissioned this January 2011 meeting at the church.

Wednesdays from 6 - 7:30 PM ladies of the community and church gather for a time of prayer and study. Light snacks are provided. The group at present have 14 ladies meeting and growing.

Fridays from 6:30 - 8 AM men of our community and church gather for study and prayer. Light breakfast is provided. This group at present have 7-8 men attending. Both groups are growing in faith and discipleship. Answered prayer is a strong witness and testimony of these groups.

Additional studies are developed during the year. Presently we are reading  C.S. Lewis's book "The Screw tape Letters" and exploring the Scriptural background.  Pastor Tom has been wanting for years to develop a study on this wonderful insight to our human condition and the faith strength needed to resist the temptations brought on by what is described by St. Paul as the "principalities and powers of the world." It continues to  be an interesting and challenging study.
